Responding to the nationwide call for greater consultation about local services and facilities, Kersey along with many other villages in Suffolk has produced a Parish Plan. The Parish Plan was adopted by the Parish Council in March 2008. The consultation took the form of a two-stage opinion survey process during 2007.

In 2022/23 a new Parish Review will be carried out with plenty of consultation with residents. Questionnaires will be put together for residents, community organisations and businesses. With the aim to deliver these in early 2023. It is hoped to hold consultation events in Spring 2023. A new Parish Action plan will then be created based on the responses from the questionnaires and public consultation with Kersey residents. Anyone interested in helping with this review should contact the Clerk, Sarah Partridge.
